One of the unique features of the Brown vacation is hurdling with my dad. After coaching a number of successful hurdlers on his girls track team, he hopes that one of the grandkids might become one. Whether it happens or not, they love racing each other across the sand. In the first picture he instructs Aidan and Liam on the footplant. Next the two five year olds--Corinne and Aidan--square off in a race. After the afternoon's work, my dad spends a little time recovering with my mom and my sister-in-law Jamie.
